Potential cyber-attack update - Monday 10:30am
10:30am Monday 15 May 2017
As of Monday 15 May Sherwood Forest Hospitals clinical IT systems are up and running as normal after they were shut down as a precautionary measure on Friday amid the widespread attempt to hack computers with so-called ransomware.
Patients due to attend outpatient clinics for MRI, CT and ultrasound scans across the Trust should attend as per their appointment information. There may be some delays as things return to normal so please bear with us.
Thank you to staff for their extra efforts and dedication over the weekend to keep as many services as possible running safely and effectively. The impact on outpatient clinics and planned operations was minimal with only 4 operations being cancelled and 3 clinics cancelled.
