King's Mill Hospital
We provide acute healthcare services for 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, Sherwood and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We employ 4,500 people across our three hospital sites - King’s Mill, Newark and Mansfield Community, and we also
run some services from Ashfield Community Health Village.
In the last financial year there were 412,000 outpatient attendances, 102,000 people attended the King’s Mill Emergency Department and more than 21,000 patients were seen and treated at the Minor Injuries Unit at Newark Hospital. We help to deliver more than 3,000 babies a year.
Across the Trust, and including intensive care, day cases, maternity and neo-natal intensive care, we have 600 bed. Many at King's Mill Hospital are single-occupancy en-suite rooms.
We work closely with our NHS and local authority social care colleagues as a leading partner in the Mid-Nottinghamshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan and the Better Together vanguard. We are also committed to developing a strategic parnership with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which is helping to bring together expertise and opportunities from across both Trusts.
