Public Governors - Ashfield

Sue Holmes

Sue Holmes

Sue has been a Governor for Ashfield for 3 years and has been elected by my fellow Governors to the role of Lead Governor.  Sue plays a full and active role in the Trust, being challenging and supportive, representing the public's interest at all times.  King's Mill has been Sue's hospital for 47 years and would like to ensure all patients continue to receive the high quality of care she has benefited from over recent years.  Sue is passionate about continuing to represent the public to ensure the Trust maintains high a quality service to all patients and their families.

Jane Stubbings

Jane Stubbings

Jane Stubbings is a newly Elected Public Governor for Ashfield. Jane has been a Volunteer Patient Representative for many years.  Having spent much time as an inpatient, Jane saw for herself lots of ways in which she could help as a volunteer and therefore became a member on the Patient Reference Group at King's Mill Hospital and was the Chair for the group for 3 years.  Jane was also a member on the MAS project for 3 years which helped with patient views on the build of the new hospital.  Jane joined the history group gathering information and photographs which now adorn the panels in the King's Mill Treatment Centre (KTC).  As a pain patient Jane co-founded the Chronic Pain Group which is now in its 24th year.  Jane joined the Nottinghamshire LINK as a volunteer and was also the Chair for 3 years.  Jane is currently the Chair for the Cancer Patient and Carer Group and also a member of the Citizens Board and Citizens Reference Panel.  Jane feels as a Governor she would like to help raise our hospital's CQC rating to outstanding and to put the patients best interests at the heart of everything the Trust does.

Jackie Hewlett Davies

Jackie Hewlett-Davies

Jackie has lived in Ashfield for 30 years and previously worked in the NHS for 23 years specialising in Workforce Development. Jackie is passionate about improving the quality of services for our citizens and enhancing the skills, knowledge and behaviours of people delivering care including families and patients. Jackie is an active member of the local Patient Participation Group and is working to develop Dementia friendly communities her locality. Jackie's passion is supporting people to work in partnership across the system to achieve transformational change.

Jayne Leverton

Jayne Leverton

Jayne has worked for the NHS for 35 years as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.  Jayne is passionate about supporting the local trust to make a difference for local people.
