£130 raised so far for Easter raffle on Ward 43

Spring is here and Ward 43 are getting into the Easter spirit with their fantastic Easter raffle display. So far they have raised over £130 in raffle tickets and will be putting all the money donated to this event towards new equipment for their ward. The prizes have been kindly provided by staff and patients. Tickets are still available to patients and staff at £1 a strip. The raffle draw is set to take place lunch time on Thursday 2 April. All winners will be notified. Happy Easter from Ward 43 and good luck to all ticket buyers.
Renal Unit raises £984 for Kidney Patient Association Fund

£984 raised for Kidney Patient Association Fund through raffles and a cake sale by the Renal Unit. This presentation took place Wednesday 11 March, pictured are Michelle Wagstaff (Renal Unit Manager), Jill Hollingworth (Dialysis Support Nurse) and Danny Banton (patient). Thank you to the Renal Unit and all their hard work and effort to raise this fantastic donation.
Quarrydale Academy bake sale raises £340 for Dementia Care

Pupils of Quarrydale Academy organised a bake sale in aid of Dementia Care. They raised £340 which was donated to Ward 52 Monday 9 March. Woolley family donates £1,300

The Woolley family donated a huge £1,300 in memory of relative Belinda Woolley. The donation of £1,300 was divided three ways; £500 to Ward 31, £400 to the Respiratory department and £400 to MacMillan. Belinda had been a patient at King's Mill Hospital on a number of occasions and the family wanted to show recognition for the care and treatment she had received across the departments.
£600 raised for Intensive Critical Care Unit

Mr Appleby and members from the Cavendish Social Club in Mansfield organised a walk and raised £600 for our Intensive Critical Care Unit and £600 to John Eastwood Hospice. The presentation took place on 22 January 2015.
