January 2017

A £10,000 donation from the League of Friends has enabled the maternity bereavement suite at King's Mill Hospital to undergo a complete makeover.

The suite has enhanced home comforts in a dedicated room providing parents who have suffered a stillbirth, or whose babies have survived for only a short time after birth, to have a private and less clinical area to grieve in and get support.

The money has been raised from fundraising events, donations and from profits from three charity shops.
