The information in these pages is intended to be a comprehensive guide for patients who may be visiting our hospitals as an inpatient, outpatient or day case patient.

We provide acute healthcare services for 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, Sherwood and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, employing 4,500 people across our three hospital sites - King’s Mill, Newark and Mansfield Community, and we also run some services from Ashfield Community Health Village.

In the last financial year there were 412,000 outpatient attendances, 102,000 people attended the King’s Mill Emergency Department and more than 21,000 patients were seen and treated at the Minor Injuries Unit at Newark Hospital. We helped to deliver more than 3,000 babies.

We continue to develop a strategic partnership with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which is helping to bring together expertise and opportunities from across both Trusts.
