Donating the Body or Organs

In most situations organ donation is not possible after someone has died. However, tissue and corneal donation may still be possible up to 48 hrs after death, and can transform the lives of up to 50 people. If this is something that you would like further information on, then please speak to a member of staff, who will be able to get further information for you.

Some people have previously made arrangements for their body to be used for medical teaching purposes. If so, relatives should contact the relevant organisation, which will then get in touch with the hospital directly.
