Organ Donation
Sometimes, patients are admitted to Critical Care whose conditions are later deemed as not survivable. These patients may have already expressed wishes to donate their organs to help others or the family may actively support this process. Either way, the Critical Care team may talk to close relatives and/or friends in the last days of the patient’s life.
