Communications team
The Communications team performs a central role at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust to engage with staff, volunteers, stakeholders and external audiences, including patients and families. The team is responsible for the image and reputation of the Trust.
The team covers a wide range of communications, including:
- Media relations
- External communications
- Internal communications
- Social media
- Brand management
- Public engagement
- Strategic communications
The Communications team should be the first point of contact for all media inquiries and requests.
Permission and consent
Permission must be given from the Communications team before any interviews, photography or filming can be carried out in or around the hospitals.
Consent must be obtained by all staff, patients or visitors that are included in any media and the photographer or crew must be accompanied by a member of the Communications team.
We receive many requests for news and documentary filming. All proposals will be considered and accommodated where possible and appropriate.
Proposals for filming can be emailed to sfh-tr.communications@nhs.net and should include the following information:
- Name and organisation
- News or production company
- Delivery format
- Target audience
- Duration
- When it will be shown/whether it has been commissioned.
