Fundraise for us

Before we get into exploring the different ways you can get involved, we'd just like to say a huge thank you for thinking of us!

Below is a list of some popular ways you can fundraise for Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity:

  • Get moving: This includes park walks, swimming, running, climbing a mountain, football, and more.
  • Give something up: This could be Movember or giving up your love for chocolate.
  • BBQ: If the weather is right, you can raise money at a BBQ or outdoor event.
  • Cake sale and coffee mornings: At work or home, cake mornings are a great way to get everyone involved in a friendly competition.
  • Craft sale: Do you or someone you know have a craft hobby? Set up a stall and sell your craft work!
  • Disco: Celebrate with your friends and family at a disco! Hold a raffle and games to help raise money.
  • Non-uniform day: Ask for a small donation for a 'dress down Friday'.
  • Book sale: Do you have lots of books lying around? Sell them!
  • Film night: Get cosy for a film night and all donate an agreed amount.

If you'd like to fundraise on behalf of the charity, you will need to contact the Community Involvement Team by emailing sfh-tr.charity@nhs.net for authorisation.

Once we have this information we will register your event/activity, giving you permission to fundraise on our behalf.

We have a variety of collection boxes and buckets that you are more than welcome to borrow.
