Your Charity Lottery

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has always been at the heart of the community and it is thanks to the kindness of individuals, community groups, businesses and the charitable trust that we have been able to invest in innovative new equipment, development projects and other initiatives over the years to offer the best possible patient care and medical treatment.

By signing up to the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity lottery, you can help us to improve patient lives by funding projects and services above and beyond what the NHS can fund.

You can help us to:

• Provide the little extras that make time spent in our hospitals more comfortable for patients and their families / visitors
• Fund environmental changes to enhance patient facilities
• Purchase the latest state-of-the-art medical equipment to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and treatment
• Help our staff to access the latest training, development and wellbeing support

How it works

By playing our weekly lottery, you can help us to improve the lives our patients, their families, visitors and staff, and be in with a chance to win a cash prize.

For £5 a month you will receive five tickets, which will automatically put you in one draw per week. For the months that don’t have five weeks, an extra mid-week bonus draw will be made at the end of the month.

No participant may purchase more than two tickets per week, which will amount to £10 per month

Please note, the first draw will take place Saturday 19 July 2025. 

Joining is simple: 

• Sign up to the lottery
• You will be allocated a unique 6-digit number sequence, which are your numbers for however long you wish you keep playing.
  Each month you will be debited £5 for five draws – each entry is just £1
• Once you’ve registered, you will receive an email notification to let you know that your entry is being processed, and then you will be sent a welcome email to confirm you are all signed up
• Tickets are issued every Friday, and every Saturday our Random Number Generator generates a random 6-digit number sequence
• The results will be published on our results page every Saturday, and the results will be available at 17.45 GMT.
• In months with only four Fridays, tickets will be issued on the following Tuesday and the draw held on Wednesday
• Results of the additional draw will be published on those Wednesdays at 17:45 GMT on the results page.

Winners will be automatically contacted, and the money will be paid directly into your bank account.
