2023 - 2024 Recruitment Performance

Research in Sherwood 

Each year we measure our total recruitment against a yearly target and the recruitment from the previous year. 

2022-23 was a very successful year for recruitment, not only did we continue to improve on recruitment, but we also exceeded our target.

Coming out of the pandemic, we have gone from strength to strength on improving Research Performance in Sherwood Forest Hospitals. 2023-24 is shaping up to be no different. Not only have we once again set a higher target, with hard work from the Research & Innovation team we are already well on our way to meeting this years target.

Research Across the East Midlands

In 2022 - 23 we finished as the fourth highest recruiter to Research across the East Midlands in terms of NHS trusts. Currently at the end of Q1 2023 - 24 we are the second highest recruiting NHS trust in the East Midlands.
