Diabetes and Endocrinology
Our department is committed to providing diabetes care in close liaison with Primary Care. Within King's Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital the service is led by a team of Consultants supported by Diabetic Specialist Nurses, Specialist Registrars, Dietitians and Podiatrists and other supporting staff.
Patients who no longer require specialist Secondary Care input will be discharged back to their GP.
The Consultants also support the community Diabetic Specialist Nurses, through regular clinical supervision.
