Learning Disabilities Nurse Specialist
The Learning Disabilities Nurse Specialist role is to make it easier for people with learning disabilities to get the correct support at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust.
We can help people with a learning disability to:
- Understand more about their health
- Understand their treatment
- Prepare for hospital visits and hospital stays
- Make sure things go well when in hospital
- To help hospital staff to understand the needs of people with learning disabilities
