Clinical Psychology for colleagues
Ending of Colleague Clinical Psychology Service
The Colleague Clinical Psychology Service will cease to operate from December 2025.
The service will not be able to take any further referrals. However, colleagues already receiving support from the service will be worked with during their remaining sessions to identify the most appropriate support pathways.
Free counselling for colleagues
For colleagues wishing to access immediate advice and access Counselling, telephone VIVUP (24/7) on 0330 380 0658.
Colleague in distress or crisis? Suicidal thoughts?
If you or someone you know (colleague, friend or family member) needs to talk now, call NHS 111 and choose option 2, or visit our suicide prevention and support page.
Other support services
Colleagues are encouraged to seek the most appropriate level of support and to explore the support available via the Wellbeing Team and VIVUP.
VIVUP is a counselling service for Trust staff members that supports them with less complex difficulties.
However, when VIVUP or the wellbeing team does not meet a colleague’s need for psychological support, access to the Staff Clinical Psychology Service can be explored, either:
- Their manager
- HR People Partner
- Occupational Health.
