Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 16 September 2025, from 5.30pm to 7pm, in the Education Centre at King’s Mill Hospital.

The event is open to all members of the public and offers a chance to learn more about the Trust’s performance over the 2024/2025 financial year, future plans, and how the Trust continues to deliver high-quality care for the communities it serves.

Ahead of the meeting, attendees are invited to an ‘Improving Lives’ drop-in event from 4.30pm in the foyer of the Education Centre. This session will feature teams from across the Trust showcasing their work, achievements, and upcoming initiatives.

During the AGM, the Trust will present its Annual Report and Quality Account, outline key priorities for the year ahead, and share how it is preparing to meet increased demand during the winter months. Attendees will also have the opportunity to put questions directly to the Trust’s Board of Directors.

Graham Ward, Chair of Sherwood Forest Hospitals, said:
“This past year has continued to bring significant operational and financial challenges across the NHS, and Sherwood Forest Hospitals has been no exception. Despite these pressures, our teams have remained focused on delivering safe, quality care for our patients and making progress on our long-term ambitions. The Annual General Meeting is an important moment to reflect on the year gone by, share how we are responding to the challenges we face, and outline our priorities for the future.”

For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be streamed live via Microsoft Teams. For more information, please visit our AGM page.

Members of the public can submit questions for the Board in advance by emailing sfh-tr.communications@nhs.net by midnight on Wednesday 10 September 2025.
