Mrs Louise Knott - Appointed Governor - Vision West Notts
Louise has been the Director of Communications, Marketing and Learner Engagement at West Nottinghamshire College since 2006 and in 2017 was appointed as Vice Principal for Communications, Engagement and Student Experience.
Louise has worked in further education for the last eighteen years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of corporate communications, press and media relations as well as stakeholder and employee engagement. As Director of Communications, Louise has overseen strategies that have propelled West Nottinghamshire College to become one of the most well-known and well-respected colleges in the country today and as Vice Principal is responsible for the wider student experience and pastoral support.
Louise started her career as a journalist on regional titles and then moved across into private agency where she worked for a range of PR clients including the regional NSPCC. Louise then moved to work for Clarendon College and oversaw the communication and re-branding of four college mergers that were to eventually form New College Nottingham.
As well as an Appointed Governor for the hospital Trust, she is the Vice Chair of Governors for Healdswood Infant and Nursery School, a Mansfield 2020 board member and is an active member of the Mansfield BID Town Team. Louise has also been an integral member of the Mansfield Ambassadors scheme and has recently been asked to join the place marketing steering group for Ashfield District. Louise is a passionate advocate of further education and for the local communities served by the college.

Dr. Amanda Sullivan - Appointed Governor - NHS Clinical Commissioning Group for Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark and Sherwood
Amanda is the Chief Officer for NHS Mansfield & Ashfield & Newark & Sherwood Clinical Commissioning Group
Amanda has previously worked as Director of Quality and Governance for NHS Nottinghamshire County to improve the quality of services through commissioning before moving to the CCG. On graduating from university in 1988, Amanda worked as a registered nurse and then as a registered midwife. She worked in a variety of clinical, educational and management roles.
In 2001 Amanda was awarded PHD for research investigating decision-making during pregnancy. In her capacity as a consultant midwife, Amanda worked at regional and national levels. She chaired a working group on behalf of the National Screening Committee, which developed national standards for screening consent. She has also edited midwifery text books.
Amanda was co-clinical lead for the East Midlands and Nottinghamshire Next Stage Review Maternity and New born vision development and she now co-leads the implementation phase in Nottinghamshire.
