Posted Thursday, September 13, 2018 3:34 PM
Patients, staff and visitors to King’s Mill Hospital’s Emergency Department will experience diversion routes to the main entrance from Monday 17 September – Friday 21 September due to flooring works being carried out.
A full diversion route will be in place and ambulance access will remain in use for ambulance crews and the public. The main route into the Emergency Department will be clearly signposted.
Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Denise Smith said: “We are not anticipating any major disruption to our services and patients, staff and visitors will still be able to access ED via a different route. The safety of our patients will remain paramount and the works will not disrupt ambulance crews getting into or out of the area. We apologise for any inconvenience during this time and thank patients for their understanding and cooperation whilst we make improvements to this area.”
