Visiting update

From 1 January 2022, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend adult in-patient visiting in order to help protect our vulnerable patients. Please visit here for more information.

Patient appointments

As we continue to see a rise in our urgent care admissions, a surge in admissions of Covid positive patients, and workforce shortages created by Covid isolation, some appointments for planned care may need to be delayed.

We will continue to prioritise urgent and emergency care and cancer treatments and we will do everything we can to avoid delaying care. If we need to take the difficult decision to delay appointments, we will contact affected patients directly to let them know.

If you do not hear from us, please attend as requested in your appointment letter.

Vaccine appointments available for 70+ at Sherwood hospital hub

Posted Tuesday, January 26, 2021 4:25 PM

In line with the JCVI guidance, Sherwood Forest Hospitals Vaccination Hub is now providing Covid-19 vaccinations for people over the age of 70, whilst continuing to also provide protection for frontline health and care workers.

If you are over 70 and would like to book an appointment at the King’s Mill Hospital Vaccination Hub please use the website here or call 0115 883 4640.

We understand that a lot of people want to be vaccinated and we would like to reassure you this will happen. If you or your relative is under 70, please be patient and wait to be contacted, do not contact the NHS. For further information on why you are being asked to wait for your Covid-19 vaccine, please read the information on the GOV.UK website or this leaflet.

For more information about vaccinations across our area please visit the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group Website here.
