Book donation supports young hospital patients

Children attending our hospitals may receive a book to help them understand their treatment, thanks to a kind donation.
The book 'Riley goes to Hospital' aims to help children understand what could happen during their hospital visit and explains the roles of the people who will care for them at each stage of their treatment.
Created and kindly donated by the team at ModuleCo – who recently completed work on Sherwood Forest Hospitals' new state-of-the-art operating theatre at Newark Hospital – the book features Riley, a young child who breaks their leg and has to visit the hospital. It explains everyone who provides care along the way - from the 999 call, to x-ray, and to the pharmacist who prescribes medicine.
Thank you ModuleCo - this will make a real difference to the experience of some of our youngest patients.
